Step by Step: How to Install Honeygain on Windows

The second step, of course, is downloading and installing the Honeygain app. While this is hardly a complicated process, some of our newest users do need some extra help.

We decided to make it easier for you and come up with clear step-by-step instructions on how to install and start using Honeygain. Let’s see how you can quickly and easily start using Honeygain on your Windows device!

There’s a dedicated Download page on our website where you can find the latest versions of installers for all the operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS). However, if you’re looking to download the app for the same device you’re browsing the website with, you can download it straight from the homepage. In the screenshot below, you can see a dark blue button – click it to start the installation.

The file that you’ll download will be called Honeygain_install.exe and look like this: a cute little bee in a box! Open it to start the installation process.

Once you open the installer, you’ll be greeted by the Honeygain Setup Wizard. Simply click Next to continue.

Now, you’ll need to specify where on your computer you want to install Honeygain. If your computer is showing a default path, and you’re happy with it, click Next. If you’re not, click Browse and pick a different folder, then click Next.

Now Honeygain has everything it needs to start the installation process – click Install, and it’s on!

Note: if you’ve changed your mind about the folder you want the app installed to, now’s the time to click Back and change that! However, the precise location is not actually that important, since you can’t really put it somewhere you won’t be able to find it afterwards: you’ll always see the app in your toolbar once it’s installed.

The time the installation process takes really depends on how fast your computer is, but it typically doesn’t take more than a few minutes. A progress bar will be displayed for the entire time, helping you understand how soon you should expect it to be complete.

Before you can start earning effortlessly with Honeygain, you’ll need to read and accept our Terms of Use. This procedure is pretty standard for all desktop and mobile software.

Enter the same credentials you used when creating the account on the website and click Log in. This is a crucial step: if you don’t log in, your new device will not be added to your account, and your app will not successfully sync up with your web dashboard. If you skipped the account creation step in the beginning, do it now by clicking Sign up!

Once Honeygain is successfully installed and running on your Windows device, you will always be able to find it in the toolbar. Look for Honeygain logo – the little bee symbol! When clicked, it will show you the main information about your earnings.

Important: if you see a red bubble 🔴 next to the Honeygain symbol, this means your application is not sharing your internet bandwidth with our network and generating an income. Make sure to check whether your internet connection is stable!

For more statistics, head to your web dashboard and log in using the same credentials you’re using to log into your application. If you have more than one device connected to your account, you’ll be able to see all of their activity in one place – talk about convenience!
